Some folks that tried out our clipart sets told us that our
clipart sets are too boring. One color and that's all. Truth is that you can easily
make our vector objects more colorful than a rainbow :-) and we'll show you how. [Slightly
off-topic: When designing for our clients and ourselves, we prefer one-to-three
colors approach. Classy, 2-3 colors documents and sites are trend nowadays, smooth
and simplified line art is a trend too.] Here's the bird
again, now outlined. You can easily add the outline to a vector art, or completely
loose it, or change its color and thickness.
Notice
the white X box at the top of the colors bar. By clicking on it, you're removing
an object's fill color (so it becomes transparent). By right-clicking on it, you're
removing the outline.
Click
on any color to fill out the drawing. Right-click on any color to set its outline
color. Press F12 to open Outline Pen Dialog which allows advanced outline customization.
Make several copies of the bird and play with them some.
And
there are more and more effects you couldn't ever achieve if it hasn't been vector
graphics. More about this later.
You
can also color differently parts of the same vector image. It took us less than
a minute to color the policeman from our "Police
Clipart" set:
